USAID/Nigeria on the 24th March 2021 launched a five-year $72 Million State Accountability and Effectiveness (State2State) Activity to strengthen Subnational Governance Systems in Six (6) States. S2S will help improve how these states plan and budget, raise revenues, increase civil society participation, and oversee service delivery in the health; education; and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sectors.

AFRI-CIRD is supporting the S2S Activity in generating baseline evidence that guides the S2S Activity implementation in the Six (6) targeted states. The first phase training for the Supervisors is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 7th April 2021. The State2State Activity is being Implemented by Development Alternatives Inc (DAI).
